Two New Paintings

I've had a flurry of creativity this week, resulting in two finished acrylic paintings. Both are 11x14" on canvas board. I generally paint intuitively, without references, and this is true for both of these.

I am very pleased with this one, especially since it has been a while since I have done an acrylic portrait this size - or any size, truth be told. (Click image to see larger.)

 

I wonder what she is thinking. She has a look that tells me maybe this is not a good time to ask. Maybe she will tell me later. (Click image to see larger.)
